Lloyd’s Register reviews DPA quality certificates
Lloyds Register (LR), one of the largest global quality granting and supervisory bodies, has carried out its periodic Quality auditing in Damietta Port Authority (DPA) to ascertain the conformity of DPA with its certificates of quality, environment, safety and occupational health (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018).
Over several days, LR representatives, in coordination with R. Admiral / Tariq Adly, DPA deputy chairman for Operation and DPA competent departments, measured all port activities and tested the efficiency of departments in dealing with various situations to ensure compliance with the three quality systems in action and maintain clean and secure environment so as to achieve customer satisfaction and trust.
LR delegate expressed gratitude for DPA cooperation in executing the auditing successfully. They also commended the measures taken in controlling the documentation of quality systems.
DPA Chairman R. Admiral / Ahmed Abdel-Moati Hawash, explained that DPA’s success in keeping compliance with the three systems comes as a result to continued training, attention to improving skills of the human element, and full coordination with port community members.
